Side Airflow Duct Kit. For networking switch applications, APC offers a Side Airflow Duct Kit

(AR7715).The Side Airflow Duct Kit allows for improved cable management solutions while

maintaining adequate airflow and separation of hot and cold aisles to cool switches.The Side Airflow

Duct Kit maintains separation of hot and cold aisles via ducts and baffle panels. The Side Airflow Duct

Kit addresses rising heat and power densities related to Power-Over-Ethernet (POE) and

Voice-Over-Internet-Protocol (VOIP).

The NetShelter Side Airflow Duct Kit is intended for use with Cisco

Catalyst 6509, 6509-E,

6513 Switches and Cisco MDS 9513 Multilayer Switches.

To install the switch, see the installation instructions provided with the switch.

Note: Do not install the shelves provided with your Cisco

switch. The NetShelter Side

Airflow Duct Kit is intended for use only with the shelves provided with this kit.
